Patrice Mai Interiors works from concept to a completion to design a space that suits your lifestyle.
PATRICE MAI provides this service to all clients. After the initial consultation where we discuss your style, your needs and ultimately the purpose of the room, I start to create a vision for the space.
My process, like most designers, starts with a selection of images to inspire both the client and myself. My mood board sets the foundation for the project, as it determines the colour scheme, textures, and materials that will be used.
My next step is the floor plan. The floor plan is one of the most important factors in Interior Design. It controls the circulation of the space and ultimately how the user will function. Here I have designed a traditional cosy, yet open living room, perfect for the client to entertain and enjoy. This service contributes to my overarching goal which aims to improve lives through smart design.
Once the floor plan is made, it is a matter of finding the perfect products to complement the space. Utilising the mood board as the foundation allows me to narrow down your options in terms of colour and materials. I can also create a detailed FF&E schedule, or shopping list, along with this as an optional service.
As part of the final styling option, I will create 3D visuals of your space with the proposed furnishings and fittings so you can see the full look. This is the most cost-effective way to ensure every style option is 100% to your liking before we go through with the renovation.
